Paul Swenbeck of Wormwood & Haze has fabricated a ceiling turner for us.

This will feature prominently in Sleeping Under Stars, Living Under Satellites, our exhibition at the Aldrich Museum that opens at the end of January.  Here’s a look:

Two projectors: the one on the central axis spins at 1rpm clockwise, the one on the peripheral axis at 2rpm.  With luck, the resulting pattern should look like this:
