the imprecise measure of one thing was my final site-specific performance work presented at the conclusion of the PAS [Performance Art Studies] workshop, a segment of DocuLab 2021, facilitated by artists bbb Johannes Deimling and Monika Deimling.

This performance begins as I assemble a board that is the exact width of the room. I then push this board slowly from one end of the room to the other, removing obstacles as I go and/or lifting the board over obstacles when necessary—including members of the audience. The performance is complete when I have fully traversed the room and the board is at rest .
